Azaadi Farm is a half-acre teaching garden in Dish With One Spoon Treaty Land {Guelph}.
We grow a wide variety of herbs, native plants, and fruits for our students to get hands-on experience with cultivation, harvesting, seed saving, and medicine making.
Colonization and displacement have played a significant role in the fragmentation of traditional plant knowledge systems and, in turn, have impacted our ability to access fresh medicine. This space is aimed at brining students together to collectively build on their knowledge and heal fractures.
